Who we are

We are an indigenous business providing technology support to businesses across Australia.

Your digital security and connectivity matters

We are DidgeNet

As an indigenous majority owned business, we lean on our collective backgrounds and values to offer our clients quality service delivery and meaningful ongoing relationships. We’re respectful of the expertise of our technology consultants and really listen to your technology problems and vision for digital transformation.

As a Supply Nation registered business, we actively look to create and support opportunities for first nations peoples – whether that’s education, employment or mentorship. We’ve found that this support empowers individuals, as well as their immediate communities.

We have strong community roots and believe in people-first technology solutions. We even have a laptop recycling programme, where we supply decommissioned laptops to schools in indigenous communities.

We’re a managed IT services provider with a difference – we connect businesses for ultimate work productivity and cyber security.

DidgeNet - technology consultants provide IT services to businesses across Australia

The DidgeNet story

‘DidgeNet’ is a name carefully crafted to convey the core values our company holds dear.

Firstly, ‘Didge’ symbolises the Yiḏaki (Didgeridoo). A traditional wind instrument developed by Aboriginal peoples of northern Australia at least 1,000 years ago. The Yiḏaki is used  in ceremonies, protocols and as an educational practice to pass down cultural knowledge to future generations.

Secondly, ‘Net’ (short for ‘network’) represents a group of connected computers with a shared communication protocol. This concept has strong parallels with the connection First Nations peoples have with the land and water that forms the streams, rivers and channels throughout Australia.

The importance of family, culture and connection is visualised in our logo – DidgeNet creates a shared environment where everyone comes together – to share problems, and solve them.

Why DidgeNet?
